  10. I'm getting screen interference on my computer from a transformer outside
  11. my home.  I've tried all sorts of surge supressors, all to no avail.  Any
  12. other suggestions?

  16. Is your interference coming directly from power lines or from
  17. electromagnetic interference (EMI) in the air?  If it's from power lines,
  18. you'll need a "high-end power filter" costing around $200 and up.
  19.  
  20. Your problem sounds like general electromagnetic interference. The only
  21. thing you can do is move your monitor as far away as possible from the
  22. source of interference.  You can also try putting some shielding around the
  23. monitor to protect it from EMI.
